Adar Gandelsman

Adar Gandelsman was an Israeli model. She was Miss Israel 2017's first runner-up. She won Miss Universe Israel 2017 and took part in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. Adar participated in the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, but she did not place. Gandelsman snapped a selfie during the pageant with Miss Universe Iraq Sarah Idan. In December of 2017, Idan and her family emigrated to Iraq because of the outrage of Iraqi citizens for her taking a picture for a photo with Miss Israel who had also been a member of the Israel Defense Forces at the time, Gandelsman was born in Ashkelon, Israel, and is the daughter of Ashkenazi Jewish parents who immigrated to Israel from Brazil in 1992.
